VIRGINIA BEACH (December 5, 2008) - - 217th birthday
party at Town Center in Virginia Beach to celebrate the Bill of Rights.
The public is invited to come to the public fountain area at Town Center @ 2
p.m., Sunday, December 14 and join the celebration of one of America's most

United States Congress in 1789 as a series of constitutional amendments, and
came into effect on December 15, 1791, when they had been ratified by
three-fourths of the States.
"The Bill of Rights limits the powers of the federal government of the
United States, protecting the rights of all citizens, residents and visitors on
United States territory.
Area Libertarians say, "We are encouraging students to attend and take part
in this event that symbolizes what the protection of individual liberties really
means and why we must protect them."
